摘要：A cartridge for an information recording medium includes a cartridge case (30),an opening cover (70), detachably mounted to a rear side opening of the cartridge case

(30), for enabling the information recording medium (d) to be withdrawn or inserted withrespect to the cartridge case (30), and a holding unit for preventing movement of theinformation recording medium by supporting the information recording medium whenthe information recording medium is received and/or withdrawn into/from the cartridgecase (30). The holding unit includes a pair of elastic pressure parts (44), elastically formedon the opening cover (70), for elastically supporting the information recording mediumto prevent movement of the information recording medium when the opening cover (70)is not attached to the cartridge case (30), and a release unit for releasing the pair ofelastic pressure parts (44) when the opening cover is attached to the cartridge case sothat the information recording medium is rotatable in the cartridge case (30). Theinformation recording medium is accommodated and withdrawn with respect to thecartridge case (30), by attaching/detaching the opening cover (70) with respect to thecartridge case (30) while supporting the disc with the holding unit. Accordingly, a userdoes not need to touch the information recording medium directly to replace theinformation recording medium, and damage to the information recording medium causedby the user's fingerprints, scratches, etc., is prevented.
